Among its other activities, the club is proud indeed of its financial award, presented each year to persons or institutions engaged in marine studies which promote or encourage conservation of shells.
During the club year, the Education Committee coordinates visits to Tampa Bay area schools. This project is aimed at encouraging students to become more aware of the marine environment which surrounds the Tampa Bay area. To arrange for a speaker call 430-8247 and ask for Betty.
The highlight of the year is the Club's Annual Shell Show, with opportunities galore for everyone to participate. Members and friends are invited to share with the public their favorite shell story in exhibit form. Craft and shell dealers are also invited to participate. Read More
